Dear Students and Graduates of University of Atlanta, Thank you for being a valued student and Graduate at University of Atlanta global community. A group of fraud, spammers, hackers and illegal unprofessional individuals are sending fake emails using email@example.com to all graduates urging them to scan their credentials, Certificates and transcripts to notarize and authenticate them for an amount of $4500 up to $10,000 from different Foreign Embassies in United States of America. Hackers are also calling Graduate students worldwide from fake American Numbers, chatting with them over Whatsapp to assure that such calls are definitely from University of Atlanta convincing and forcing them to move forward and accept their offer to notarize their documents. These fake people are claiming they are calling from University of Atlanta Head branch in USA, providing students with fake Bank Account in USA to transfer their money and be a victim of this fraud, then Disappear.
The only official Bank account of University of Atlanta is mentioned at your Learn Centerportal under Business office- Payment options.
We would like to inform you that University of Atlanta would never send such emails under any circumstances, call or chat with graduates /current students over Whatsapp forcing them to attest their degrees in 10 to 15 days for $4,500, $6,000, $8,000, up to $10,000.
Please ignore such fake calls, chats and emails, don't reply to any of their fake emails, or provide them with your credit/debit card details, if received from firstname.lastname@example.org or calls from U.S numbers, because they will directly get to your email accounts and send fake emails to all your contacts in your mailing list and get your credit or debit cards details, and get your money to attest your certificates then disappear. We hold no responsibility to any paid amount to these hackers under any circumstances and for any reason if not requested from University of Atlanta Administrative Board.University of Atlanta can be only reached at the email accounts mentioned on https://www.uofa.edu/aboutus/contactUs/ .
